ABOUT
I am Federica Fantozzi an Environmental Guide of Tuscany. I have worked as a guide since the 2011 and I am very passionate in my job.
I got a Ph.D. in Environmental Biology in 2013 at the University of Siena and Reading (UK), but for long time I have also worked as an environmental educator with children and schools.
I live near Sovicille, a historical small village, in the Merse valley, one of the most uncontaminated area between Siena and Grosseto.
FEDERICA
Siena is the city where I grew up and I am also a passionate contradaiola (supporter) of the Nicchio contrada (neighbourhoods) from the Palio horse race, one of the most famous tradition in the world.
My mother family come from Montisi a little place in the beautiful Crete Senesi and my father is from Montalcino, in the heart of Val d’Orcia. I have heard a lot of stories about my original land and I am a big lover of the beautiful surroundings I was born.
