This tour starts from the town of Pienza, in the beautiful Val d’Orcia UNESCO heritage site.

Our walk heads out from the “Pieve di Corsignano”, well conserved example of Romanesque church in the middle of countryside.

Along a beautiful marked trail on the rounded hills of Pienza we will meet to picturesque Vitaleta chapel, one of the symbols of Val d’Orcia.

We then follow paths and old drovers' roads, where we will stop for a well-earned rest and a lovely picnic lunch.

Trail slowly climbs through wheat fields, and scenic roads with cypresses trees, where was settled the Gladiator movie.

Finally, we will get the town of Pienza where will be possible to enjoy a cheese tasting with a nice glass of Nobile or Brunello wine.

We will have some time to explore and look around and perhaps have a gelato.
